Ouch. Took the van in yesterday because it was overheating (Finally melted enough snow so I COULD get the van out). Overheated on the freeway, didn't even make it to work.

turns out the water pump went bad. lost all my coolant. ended up replacing that, the serpentine belt, the tortioners, the thermostat.

950.00.

ouch.

Well, that was unexpected.

We went to the mall today, for her to buy clothes and makeup and shoes, because she had coupons. I stayed in the car and read my book, listened to the radio.

On our second to last stop (the shops are across the street from each other), when we were leaving, the car wouldn't start. Apparently, I killed the battery listening to the radio.

So, we went in, and had security give us a jump, then we went to Batteries Plus and bought a new battery. He installed it there, and he told us we were the 4th Element today.

Weird. But we now have a new battery, and I'll probably listen to music on headphones now!

Finally. After some long discussions with my site host, the site is back. Apparently they changed the domain name servers that this site uses, but it wasn't done correctly (in my opinion), so the site was lost in the web.

And now that this major project at work is over, I'm taking a week off to do...stuff. play games, update some websites, maybe do some genealogy research...just not work stuff!

As part of Tulana's bonus, we bought some new cell phones. I upgraded to a Moment, and she upgraded to an Eclipse.

Feels kind of nice to join the 21st century

Only worked 4 hours today. Have an 8 hour day tomorrow, tho.

Did get a deal at Walmart last night - got Season 1 of Voyager for 19.99, and the animated Star Trek for 16.99. I'm still working on finishing all the Star Trek seasons, and I'm going to get TOS in blu-ray, so this was a good find.

Also shoveled a bunch of snow behind the van, so I can try to back it out and drive it next week. You know you've been in Minnesota too long when you celebrate the fact that it warmed up to 35!
